Located in one of the areas with the most stunning views of the city, with the Hudson River on one side, Worldwide Plaza on the other, and directly in front, the iconic route to the Statue of Liberty.
The inspiration that brought this project to life came from the client’s trip to Africa, where vibrant culture, shapes, textures, and colors enveloped us, guiding us toward an eclectic design full of character.
The curation and selection of art, painted by the client, enhance each decorative piece, each light fixture, and each piece of furniture, creating a harmonious color palette that serves as a common thread throughout all the spaces.
As soon as we enter to the living room, you are greeted by the stunning view of the terrace. A white sofa adorned with cushions of various textures and colors, alongside two rattan lounge chairs that add a warm touch, while a natural fiber rug and a bench combining leather and metal complete the composition. In the center, two coffee tables of different shapes add dynamism to the space, accompanied by two sculptural accent pieces carved from wood that provide a unique and natural accent, perfectly in tune with the plants and natural light flooding the area.
For the dining room, we chose a dining table with a burl finish, surrounded by six bouclé fabric chairs that add texture and create a modern and cozy atmosphere.
On the second floor, there are two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, where a palette of neutral tones in textiles, woods, and rugs allows natural light to convey warmth and peaceful vibes in every corner. In the art studio, we decided to leave the materials and paints exposed, to highlight the beauty of the creative process and the magic of bringing artistic works to life.
