Mexico City - Mexico
An apartment located in the center of Polanquito neighborhood in Mexico City. It has a hallway, main entrance hall, living room, dining room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms.
The main touch of this project is the collection of mid-career Mexican artists curated by Gustavo Arroniz that accompany and elevate the experience of mid-century interior architecture by combining furniture in this same trend.
The objective of this project was to present the reality and possibility of not only decorating, but also living this process of collecting at the same time as inhabiting a space.
This collection reflects our client’s passion for life and at the same time is a projection of how to inhabit the space making a unique experience.
In the dining room we have the explosion of color and dynamism by Omar Rodriguez Graham. On the side of the corridor, that has the visual finish of the room framed by the same architecture, we have a painting by Mauro Giaconi. In the transitory space between the social and private part of the apartment, we have a painting by Moris.
In the baby’s bedroom we are inspired by a Nordic style in neutral tones between oak wood and beige, white and black tones. As a central finish is the crib framed by a round striped rug and on the perimeter the rest of the Montessori-style furniture.
